One of the Christmas cards I've been working on for the latest Whimsy Stamps release featuring the fab new dies - Christmas Branches and Wonderland Word set.  I also used the Lily Flower die set to make the poinsettias.

Ugh, I struggled with getting the true colour in the photographs - I tried photograping inside and out and this is about the best I could get.  White background paper and bright red flowers don't photograph well together 😤

I used red foamiran for the flowers, edged the petals with a touch of gold paint, then added some crushed glass to the petals and berries for a frosty look.

The papers are a mix - the poinsettia print is from The Range.  It's so pretty IRL with lots of sparkly glitter and texture.  The dark green is by Personal Impressions, I've had it for years.  Always knew it would come in handy eventually 😂

I love how versatile the lily die is, so far I've made lilies (natch), poinsettias and clematis.  Not bad for what started out life as a wee doodle whilst I was on the phone!

You're wonderful!

I've been busy with new release stuff that's been all about Christmas, so I decided to take a break from them and have a play with pretty papers and colours.  Links to the products used will be at the end of the post.

I made some foamiran flowers, I love foamiran so much I don't even think to use ready made flowers any more.

The sweet little daisy was made at one of the fabulous workshops arranged by Monika and taught by Ewa Constanza.

I coloured the flowers with oil pastels.

I gave the chipboard frame a coat of white paint to make it pop off the card

Just Dance - Whimsy Stamps September Release

I'm joining in with day 5's Whimsy Stamps September countdown.  All new release products will be available on 7th September from the Whimsy store, I'll update the links once the release is live

I've used last months CAS set which is available for purchase this month.  I've also used the matching die set to cut out the dress.  I stamped, cut then coloured using copic markers and then loaded on the distress glitter for extra bling.

I made a lily, rose, rose buds and blossoms from Foamiran.  Man I love this stuff.  Links to the dies and foamiran at the end of the post.

I coloured the foamiran with oil pastels

I love the way this card turned out, I really do. I'm also getting a bit better at the roses too - practice does indeed help!

Summer Butterfly

Back again with yes, another shabby chic card for my GDT spot with Love to Craft & Create.  I just adore this colour combo, it screams shabby chic.  I'll link to the products at the end of the post

I made some foamiran flowers using my Peony die set as well as other flower dies in my stash (Rosy Dot/Craft Passion/Noor).

And finished it off with a gorgeous chipboard butterfly and some Doodle stamping around the edges.

Thankful - Whimsy Stamps September Release

I'm back ... sort of.  My PC is not very well so I'm struggling along with the laptop - me no likey!

It's Whimsy Stamps September release time - from this month they've changed things up and over the next 5 days the DT will be sharing inspiration to showcase all the new products.  They will then be available on the 7th September.

I've used the new Falling Leaves clear stamp set along with the Gratitude Word Dies.

I stamped the words stamp randomly in black ink - I LOVE this look for shabby cards, and these words are so delicate, they're perfect for this style!

The white swirly leaves are from a new Christmas Branch die set set that's been designed by Crissy Armstrong and will also be released this month.  It's fabulous, and so versatile because it can be used all year round.

And of course I had to make some foamiran flowers using the Peony Flower and Lily Flower die sets.  The bitty gypsophilia type flowers are made by heating and forming 5 layers of tiny daisies then adhering together on a stamen then finishing off with a green layer.  So cute and easy to make too.

I haven't forgotten about the promised videos, as soon as I get my PC back I can edit them then start uploading.  I won't even attempt it on my laptop, I'll end up throwing it against the wall lol.

Love those new Christmas Branch dies (I think already said that!) 😂

I added a bit of texture paste with a music stencil and die cut the word die 3 times and glued together so it would pop off the card whilst keeping it white.  I stamped one of the sentiments from the set onto a banner die and popped it in among the flowers.

I'll add the links to the new products once they go live on the 7th.  For now here's the others.
