Wee Baby Giraffe

I haven’t coloured in a Wee image for a while, and fell in love with this new one from Whimsy Stamps – Baby Giraffe.  How stinkin cute!  I teamed it with a sentiment from the Polka Dot Fun stamp set.

I made the flowers using my Peony Flower Die Set and 0.6mm white Foamiran.  I made some little yellow blossoms usiing the peony die (smallest die) and also Craft Passion Flowers Set 03 and Craft Passion Flowers set –06 dies as well as some rust blossoms using a Rosy Dot set.  I made a card similar to this a couple of weeks ago (in fact I made them both together because I loved the paper and lace so much!)  The paper is UKH Gallery Mademoiselle paper pad, the lace is 100mm natural lace which I cut in half. 

I need to dig out some more Wee stamps I think.

My first Christmas card for 2017 is done, this year is whizzing by far too quickly.  Eek, eek, eekity eek!

I went the traditional route for my first card, and used delicious Lemoncraft Christmas Carols paper pad, added a gorgeous Wycinanka - Christmas Doodles - Baubles with Snowflake 02 and some Scrapiniec Holly Branches laser cut chipboard which I popped in amongst the flowers.  I added

 some machine stitching, 15mm White Cotton Lace and Waxed Cotton Cord - 5 metres - Green

I used mulberry flowers for a change.  I chopped up a glittery berry spray to use in amongst the flowers and finished off with a die cut sentiment

One down, eleventy ‘leven to go!

Penguin’s Rainy Day

I’m still penguin crazy, so here’s another cutie from me today.  This is Penguin’s Rainy Day, a digi stamp from Whimsy Stamps.   I’ve used one of the sentiments from the Polka Dot Fun clear stamp set and some It’s a party enamel dots and sequins for embellishment along with the flowers.

Copic markers used to colour this up are:

Penguin: C9, 7, 5; C1, 0, 00; R20, R00; YR27, 24, 31, 30
Brolly: N3, BG57, 45, 53, B000
Boots/Hat: N3, R24, 14, 22, 20
Ducky: YR31, Y35, YR30; YR27, 24, 31, 30

The papers are My Minds Eye – these fun colours are so perfect for these stamps!

Dies used are a mix of Sizzix, Magnolia, Memory Box or MFT for the clouds (can’t remember!) and Spellbinders.

Back on the weekend with a (ssshhhhhhh!!!) Christmas card - eeek!

You make me happy

I was in my happy place last week – shabby, pink and pretty.  Oh yeah!

I used a whole bunch of goodies from Love to Craft and Create on this card :-

Papers are Lemoncraft House of Roses pad and Lemoncraft Dreamy Mornings Touch of the Sun paper; 50mm White Flower Guipure Lace (but I cut it in half along the pattern), Craft Passion Flowers set – 03, pink and white Foamiran, White Stamens

White Pomegranate Apples, White Waxed Cotton Cord (lurve this stuff!!).

The dies used are Peony Flower Die Set, Memory Box, Crafters Companion, Prima, Rosy Owl and eBay.  The butterfly washi tape is also an eBay find as are the heart glass bottles.  The oval frame is from The Range and the sentiment is a SU rub-on.

I love these little glass bottles so hard. ♥

The butterfly comes as two separate die sets …. the solid and the frames.  I cut the solid from parchment paper and then adhered the frames to the front.
