For my best friend

Morning!  Here’s a quick card I made using the delectable Maja Summertime papers.  These are seriously fabulous!  I decided to utilise the bicycle picture and built the flowers up around the bicycle …. trying not to cover it up too much.

The ruffled flower in the centre of the arrangement is handmade – I used some of the Maja paper.  It’s so thick and robust and stands up really well to manhandling the wet petals.  The pointy leaves at either end of the arrangement are Scrapiniec chipboards (all links at end of post).  As always, I gave the chippies a coat of white paint, I prefer the white to the creamy look they come in.  The glitter leaves are actually from a Christmas garland that I decided to chop in to, loving the sparkle.

Tucked under the flowers is more chipboard – the stunning Mehendi Laces.  LOVE these.  The sentiment is also chipboard.

The Owl Charm just finished this off, complete with his blue peepers Winking smile

Pink and shabby

Sorry folks, it’s another pink card today ….. no surprises there then!

I painted the chipboard frame white and once dry and glued together I finished off with pearls and a die cut sentiment.  I really do love these chipboards, they are so pretty!  The green leaves are a Rosy Owl die, and I die cut from pearlised card.  The white leaves are from a TH set by Sizzix

I used a selection of flowers from Noor Design and I Am Roses, and pink pomegranate apples also from Noor Design, as is the sweet Petite Ruffled Trim.

The doilies are actually a fan die from Sweet Dixie, I just covered the pointy bit that I didn’t need with the patterned paper.

Birthday Beauty

I got a delivery of the new Maja Design Summertime papers from Noor Design this week and had to have a play

The image is Birthday Beauty and is part of the newest Whimsy Stamps release.  I coloured her with copic markers
Skin:  E13, 11, 00, 000, R20
Hair: E40, 44, 49
Green: G94, 43, 40, 0000
Coral: R24, 22, 20, 00, 000

The sentiment is a rub-on, which I’ve popped onto the cutest little tags from the Magnolia Club kit 10.  The tiny white flowers are die cut with a die from that kit too.  I added a charm to the tag, those are now also being stocked at Noor (links for all products used at the end of the post).

Now then, I am a leaf die junkie – I have hundreds of them and the leaves and white spray used on this card are from the new 0584 Christmas set that’s just been released.  I can’t WAIT to get busy with the poinsettia dies.

The lace is gathered  so gives a floaty look to the card.

And a peek at what’s inside.

Sunflower Slumbertime

My favourite little mice are making another appearance, I really do so love these mice from Di’s Digi Stamps.  This is Sunflower Slumbertime, soooo stinking CUTE!!

The paper is Bildmalarna (I think), I  know I’ve had it a while.  I used some of the paper to die cut some blossom flowers from the Flowers of Joy die set, which then got the old Distress Glitter treatment.

The chipboard sentiment is Brush Art Script Home by Scrapiniec and can be found at Noor Design.  I popped it onto a circle of blue card so it didn’t get lost on the card.  The little bee charm is from my stash.

I coloured up these cuties with copic markers and used
Mice: T5, C1,0, 00, R30 and blender pen
Foilage: G28, 21, 20
Sunflower: Petals - Y11, 19, YR24, Y15
Centre - YG00, E13, E34, E47, E49

The doily is an old Marianne Design snowflake, I love the lacy effect.

A bit more shabby

Love love LOVE these Scrapiniec chipboards, and I think the chandelier is my favourite (okay, my current favourite lol).

I made the large two flowers (link to flower die at the end of the post), coloured up white card with Victorian Velvet after die cutting and before wetting and scrunching and leaving to dry.

I’ve used quite a few favourites on this card, the Rose Garden paper pad and the divine lace are just two of them.

I popped some green twine  loops inbetween the flowers and finished off the inside to match the front.
