My Father

My Mister Tom papers by Pion arrived this week, and they are just brilliant for those tricky male cards. This one about made itself it was so simlpe to do!

I used the stunning new Joy Craft Big Fence and Background die to add an extra layer. I did this in dark brown, and it really helps to lift the upper layers. A clock charm, some ribbon and a key along with a stamped image and one male card done. Smile

Just for You

I just adore the new Lemoncraft Everyday Spring papers, because … pink, and pretty, and shabby ….. and PINK!!

Uh I went a bit cray-cray with shabbying this puppy up, I even got out some diluted white paint to splatter over it once it was done. Now that was uber brave for sure. I also experimented with the leaves and die cut several from watercolour paper then spritzed with watered down distress ink in various greens then scrunched them up and left them to dry. I love how they turned out.

This was such a nice and easy card that was such fun to make.

Summer Buttercup

Welcome to the May 2016 Whimsy Stamps Release. Over the next 3 days the Whimsy DT girls will be showcasing all the *BRAND NEW* red rubber stamps. All the stamps as well as details on how to win some fabulous prizes can be found on the Whimsy Inspirations Blog, where you can also see the fabulous creations the DT have made with the new goodies.

My card today features the super cute Summer Buttercup by Elisabeth Bell for Whimsy Stamps. I just love those boots yeeha! Lol

I used Copic markers to colour the image:

Skin: E13, 11, 00, 000, R20
Hair: E57, 53, 51, 50
Clothes: B23, 21, 91; R85, 83, 81
Bunny: C3, 1, 0, 00

Those sweet little mushrooms are from a Magnolia kit. I inked the edges with Victorian Velvet D/I then added some Distress Glitter

The inside finished off to match the front. The paper is from a divine pad I picked up at the Pound Shop. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw the craft goodies they had and well, some of it had to fall into my basket. I thought the gingham was perfect for the image.

Wee Peggy

Another Wee card today, this time I coloured up Peggy and used the new It’s a Party paper pad and matching Enamel Dots also from Whimsy Stamps, and will be available from 15th June.

The die behind the image is by Marianne Design LR0317 Petra’s Circle & Crown.

Summer Window

The new Noor Design challenge starts today, and this month it’s Summer (hopefully this won’t be the only summer we see this year!!!)

I die cut the window twice and glued together to make it more dimensional. I cut out a piece pf paper with the bird and cage on it to pop behind the window.
