I think I could get hooked on making quick cards – this one didn’t take long to do and I love how it turned out.

Love this Prima doily die, the detail is phenomenal. I hope you can see the tulle trim buried under all the flowers ….. I got a bit carried away gluing things on oops.

The sentiment is chipboard slathered in white gesso

The leaves are die cut from a Cheery Lynn border die, the tiny little hydrangeas are made using coffee filters and a Sizzix set.

Friends Forever

I had a play with my new Pergola die from Noor Design – love it! It started life out white, but then I decided it disappeared into the paper so I attacked it with the gold paint. Much better

The little key (from my mountain of keys stash!!) got blinged up with some Inka Gold wax. Man I love that stuff.

A closer look at the gorgeous pergola, the detail is just amazing. The trailing leaves are part of the die set.

A really quick and easy card that didn’t take long to make, yet still has lots of detail.

Seeing as we’ve had a hint of summer this past week, I cracked out Wee Shelley from Whimsy Stamps to colour up. Not very summery colours but I was in a cool pastel mood …… and these papers were to hand.

Something Old, Something New

It’s a new month, so a new challenge at Noor! Design. This month we’re working with the Something Old, Something New theme. I’ve used the new MDF Berry Sweet set and the new strawberry die set for my something new, and the butterfly die set (one of my favourites) as well as the two leaf dies for my something old.
