Another Lili of the Valley sneak peek

I’m scheduling this post as by the time it goes live I will have been at work for a good hour, nose to the grindstone …. get out the violins lol.  I’ve another Lili of the Valley sneak peek to share today from the release that goes on sale a week today.  I’ve a feeling these will sell out even faster than the last release as you are all loving these images so much.

I have used Websters pages paper and combined it with some of my gingham prints (the link to the freebies is in my side bar, so help yourselves if you fancy them).

The ribbon is that delish seam binding again, the pearl button and charm I picked up off Ebay.

The image was coloured with copics, I think I used these colours (not 100% sure though as I did this card a while back)
Skin:  E21, E00, E000, R21
Reds: R29, R27, R25, R22
Greens: YG63, YG11, G21, G20
Fawns: E44, E42, E40
Browns: E29, E25, E51

The fancy corner is a Marianne D die.  The sentiment accompanies the stamp (love that you now get a sentiment and an image stamp for £4!!  Bargain!!).  The 15mm roses and 25mm tea rose is from Wild Orchid Crafts.

This card is for sale on Ebay.  That’s it from me today, have a good week.

Wild Orchid Challenge

Last day off before I head back to work, now that’s thrown me into an extreme case of depression lol. I have loved being off work this past two weeks, oh to be a lottery winner!!

Today sees the first challenge for 2011 at Wild Orchid Challenge blog. And the challenge is a sketch provided by me. There is a fab prize up for grabs too – check this out!!

I’ve used another of those adorable Ellie from Stamposaurus. lazy-ellie

I’ve used some Elline’s Huis In the Meadow paper. The gingham ribbon is from The Craft Fairy. The lace and flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

The sentiment is from an old Stampin Up set (I think it’s called Riveted) – I picked it up off Ebay when it was almost impossible to get hold of circular stamps. Now with all the fab circular sentiments by Lili of the Valley we’re spoilt for choice lol.

I am off to try and cram 3 days into today to make the most of my last day of freedom lol.

News and two winners

I’ve a couple of things to share tonight as well as the winners of the Simon Says Stamp candy and the bundle of distressed seam binding.

First up, Wild Orchid Crafts now has the gorgeous hip rosebuds and self adhesive rhinestones in stock.

Next, the new challenge is up on Kenny K Krafty Girlz challenge blog.  There’s a new valentines release that went on sale today at Kenny K’s shop called Love Line.  The DT have done an amazing job showing off these new images.

And lastly, the two winners!

The winner of the Lovely Tilda is Christine (blankiefinder)

Congratulations Christine, please email me to claim your prize (please put Lovely Tilda in the subject line).

I did another batch of seam binding distressing, so have two winners.  And they are Pops, I nearly fell off the chair laughing at her comment lol

Hey sweetie this looks fab, i love the look of this ribbon, Lee was watching it with me and he just said i should just put it in my washer as my whites always come out a different colour!!! How cheeky is he lmao hugs Pops x x x

And Paula (PEP)

Congratulations Pops and Paula, please email me to claim your prize.

Thanks for playing along

A quick video and some seam binding to give away

I managed to get a quick video done showing how I get the distressed look on the seam binding that I am crazy about. It was done in between getting the dogs out for their walk so it’s a bit rushed (I take them out in threes so get to go out twice each time – must be mad lol). And check out those age spots (should have had gloves on both hands rofl).

And here's the result.
