Just Cute Bears

It’s my last week as GD for Just Cute Bears and I’ve provided a sketch for the challenge

I’ve used one of the sweet Busy Bears from Lili of the Valley for this card – and this is what I will be doing tomorrow, baking 60 cupcakes for our Ben to take to school on Monday as it’s his birthday.  He’s coming round in the afternoon to “help” me decorate them, my kitchen will never be the same again lol.

I found the perfect papers in my stash, by DCWV.  I’ve coloured the image with copics: Bear E30, 31, 33, E11, E13; Dress RV10, RV11, RV34; Mixing Bowl E30; BV0000, BV01; Cake Tin and shadows C00, C0, C1, C3, C5

A few cherry blossoms and 15mm roses from Wild Orchid crafts and a touch of gingham ribbon and job done.

Week 56 – Jane’s sketch

Wow, the Girly cards were amazing last week, and thanks to all that entered, we had another bumper week :)

This week we are sponsored by the lovely Tracy of Dies to die for.  This week’s prize is a £10 voucher to spend in their store. 

Our challenge this week is a sketch provided by Jane.  Loved the sketch thanks honey.I found another uninked stamp that I had forgotten I had even bought till Jacqui reminded me about it lol.  I found a few more Magnolias I forgot about – too much stash and not enough time to use it all methinks.

I didn’t have enough of the dotty paper that was in the Basic Grey pad so was well pleased when I had a mooch and found a pad of K&Co papers with a perfect match.

I coloured the image with Copics.  Skin E000, E00, E01, E11, R20; Hair E50, Y23, Y26; Clothes BG0000, BG000, BG10, BG11, BG13; Shadow C00, C0, C1, C3

I used a Bazzill Bling template so mark out a swirl on the base of the card and popped some rhinestone gems on.  Not sure if it works but it’s stopping right where it is lol.  I used one of the gorgeous gem butterflies from Quixotic Paperie.

The gorgeous sheer aqua ribbon is from Crafty Sentiments (I can’t remember which kit it came in).  The white wild roses and 15mm roses from Wild Orchid Crafts have been spritzed with Marshmallow Glimmer Mist (this one is REALLY shimmery!!)
