It’s Saturday Surprise time again. This week Simon Says Stamp is going to supply a Magnolia PEACHY TILDA Rubber Stamp

Entry is by Mr Linky only. All you need to do to enter the draw is leave a link to your blog in Mr Linky so I can find you and if you fancy, mention it on your blog (that would be great, but not necessary to be in the draw). The winner will be announced on Sunday evening.

And if you don't have a blog you can still enter - enter your full name in the name box and in the URL box underneath just link back to my blog and keep a note of your Linky number in case you're the winner.
If Mr Linky is not showing he's probably playing up .. AGAIN!!  Please pop back later to enter.

Just Magnolia – sketch time

It’s a sketch for the Just Magnolia challenge this week, JayJay has provided a brilliant sketch for us to work with.

JayJay sketch week 39

I have made another easel card (I am fast becoming quite addicted to them) and have once again unearthed some really old paper (another pad that is almost finished – sob!)  In fact it’s so old that I can’t remember where I got it from or who it is by – the cover got lost over the years.

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the sentiment is Whiff of Joy.  The ribbon and pearls are from The Hobby House

Lili of the Valley challenge and a sneak peek

Hoo boy, I didn’t think i was going to get this posted but managed eventually using Livewriter, as I can’t get a decent internet connection.  Four weeks I have been struggling and hopeless Virgin Media are still saying there is nothing wrong.  Sky here I come!!!  I am so fed up now you have no idea.

Anyway, enough moaning from me.  This week we have such a brilliant sketch to follow for the Lili of the Valley Challenge and I have used one of the new images that are being released on the 25th January at Lili of the Valley.  How cute is this bunny!!!

Once again apologies for the horrible photo, I had to use the light box again as it’s been so dark here this week. The papers are Kaiser from The Hobby House, the ribbon is from a Crafty Feeling kit, the sentiment is Autumn Leaves Ticketed and the pearls are also from The Hobby House.  The cherry blossoms are from Wild Orchid Crafts and have been spritzed with Snow Angel Glimmer Mist.

Whiff of Joy Challenge and some Stampavie Sneak Peeks

The Whiff of Joy Challenge is a recipe, and there is two options:

4 papers, 3 bling 2 flowers
OR for the challenged like me 3 papers, 2 bling, 1 flower lol (guess who went for the easy option!!

I used Charlotte with large letter from the Happy Mail collection from Whiff of Joy and have teamed her with these Papermania papers that I had forgotten about till I saw a beautiful card that Jacqui had made and I went and dug them out.  Monkey see, monkey do lol.

The Stampavie DT are taking turns at posting their CHA Spring-Summer 2010 collection makes, today is my turn to show my cards made with the new Helz Cuppelditch stamps.

First up is Coco Cat Flowers. stampavie-cha-2a

I have used MME Bloom and Grow papers (perfect for these sweet images), the sentiment is also from Stampavie, it’s the Rachelle Anne Miller sentiments – love the fonts used.  The big Martha Stewart border punch is a gift from my sweet friend Jacque – thanks sweetie xxx.  The daisies are punched with a Woodware Daisy punch, the buttons are Basic Grey.

The image on the next card is called Loopy Lops Gift Box – love that name!  I went with a pastel theme for this image, love the spring daisy paper. I know one of the papers is Anna Griffin but I can’t remember who the blue one is by, sorry.

Once again I have used Woodware Daisy punches for the flowers and a RAM sentiment

And my last HC card is Ruffles Puppy Plaque – just love the confused look on his face lol.

Bo bunny papers, retro flower punched flowers and a RAM sentiment made a real quick and easy card.  The charm was a RAK from Rach, thanks sweetie xx

Apologies for the long post and if you’re still here, thanks lol.

Sarah Kay – Quixotic challenge

I can’t believe I still have a few Sarah Kay stamps from the last release that have never been inked up!  Poor little Lucy was feeling very neglected lol.

I have gone back to some very old favourites, this K&Co pad is one of the first I bought and there is so little of it left too.  I coloured Lucy with Kitty with distress inks, Inkadinks and Twinkling H2O’s.  I have used the fab sketch one Quixotic Challenges, the half circle is a little doily (it is there, although rather hidden by the beautiful flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts).  The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp Simply the Best set.

Another shot (you can tell my hubby took these for me, not much option for different angles lol)

I’ll be back tomorrow with not only my Whiff of Joy challenge card but also some Stampavie cards that I did for samples for the CHA.
