Sarah Kay Nativity and another missed challenge

This really becoming a habit lol.  I did this card as soon as I saw the sketch last week on Friday Sketchers then forgot all about posting it!  I am losing the plot big time (too much to do for this little brain to cope with) so here it is anyway.  It's the second in the series that I am doing for The Hobby House, there is one more Stampavie nativity image still to do when I can get a chance to squeeze it in.  And I coloured it with Copics again, that’s twice in a week!!! I’m slowly getting the hang of them.stampavie-noel-shepherd
I have used the beautiful blue Heidi Grace papers again, just love these.  Added to this with the regulatory snowflakes blinged to the nines with Twinklets and jewel brads (I'm sooo predictable lol) and used the Prima bling along the bottom in keeping with the sketch.stampavie-noel-shepherd1

Recipe:
Stamp: Sarah Kay Noel Shepherd, sentiment from Crafty Sentiments
Paper: Heidi Grace
Tools: Spellbinders Create-a-Flake 1
Embellies: Spacers, Jewel Brads, Prima Say it with Crystals, Twinklets

4 challenges with 1 card

Never in my wildest dreams could I get four cards done in a day ... if only!  I would be well set for Christmas then.  I've followed this weeks Sketch & Stash challenge sketch, Creative Card Crew and Stampavie & more are both Christmas and MTTC is Winter Pals.

I love this new Whiff of Joy image of Willow reading a story - reminds me of years gone by when my children were little.  In fact it could be them!  My daughter always had her nose in a book and my son always had a cookie in his hand lol.

Because the image is so large I have kept the embellies to a minimum, I had a job squeezing those buttons down the side, the middle one is perched very precariously on the edge!!  The image has been coloured with distress inks and H2O's.  The rest of the embellies are from my stash and the sentiment is a Studio G one.  The paper is ancient K&Co.

Whiff of Joy Challenge - a sketch

What happened to Monday and Tuesday??  Goodness I can't believe it's Whiff of Joy challenge day again already, that came around quick lol.

This week we have a fabulous sketch by Marga, I loved working with it and even blew the dust off my Craft Robo to cut the circles, first time in 2 years I'll have you know!!  I had to go lie down in a darkened room after that - I was so psyched up to throw it out the window cos I could never get the thing to cut properly hence the thick coat of dust ..... and it cut like a dream AND I remembered how to work it.  I was well pleased lol.

I have used my all time favourite Xmas papers - Basic Grey Wassail and one of the darling Santa images from Whiff of Joy (don't forget the Christmas stamps are on sale there right now).  The gorge pearl and gold button is from The Hobby House.  The flower and leaves are Prima Bubbles and the sentiment is from an Anna Griffin clear Xmas set.
