Willow with lantern

Sorry I am still MIA, I have so much on at the moment that I just don't have the time spare to spend on the computer. So sorry that I have not visited you all for a while, hopefully things will settle down soon. I am scheduling my posts way in advance as I am trying to get two cards a night done over the next few weeks so if it looks like I'm talking in past tense ... I probably am lol.

I still think Willow with Lantern by Whiff of Joy is one of my most favourite stamps ever, and was asked to make some Christmas samples so this stamp jumped out first. The sentiment is from Whiff of Joy as well.

I have used these gorge shimmer SEI papers from The Hobby House, they have the most exquisite golden sheen to them - perfect for Christmas cards. The poinsettias are also from The Hobby House, I just spritzed them with Cosmic Shimmer lava red - it gives them a velvet look, really delish. The little spacers from The Hobby House were silver as were the brads, I coloured them gold with a Krylon pen.

Henry Mouse - I'm in love lol

I was sooo excited when my new Whiff of Joy DT kit arrived, have you ever seen anything so stinkin' cute!!! Love love love this little mouse and to get a whole kit just of Henry Mouse is like Christmas lol.

It was so hard to pick a favourite, but I think this is it (till I colour another image I bet). The look of bliss on his little face is so sweet (and just like mine when I am dunking marshmallows in hot chocolate mmmmmm). 
I cut some Spellbinders snowflakes out of acetate and applied Twinklets (this girl has GOT to have her bling and sparkle). I took a chance and applied the Twinklets to a Martha Stewart punched snowflake - I didn't think it would work as the snowflake is so fine but it worked really well. In fact I think it looks even better on the finer snowflake, the Twinklets on the edges look like real ice crystals.
