Whiff of Joy Challenge 6

Wow - challenge 6 already! This week Heather has done another amazing sketch for us - I love her sketches, lots of layers which makes for a fabulous card that is so easy to assemble.

Please go and check out the other DT cards on the Whiff of Joy challenge blog - they are amazing. Shary is our guest designer this week and her card is just stunning!!!

I've coloured Charlotte riding reindeer (LOVE this image) as per with distress inks and H2O's.
The papers are Papermania, not sure the name of the pad but it's this years Xmas pad. I've not used mirri card for years and all of a sudden am loving it with the deep burgundy and green papers (and to think I was going to ditch the lot when I was clearing out me craft room - shock!!)
The flowers were too red so I attacked them with Stampin Up Purely Pomegranate ink, the spacers are from stash. The tags are a Sizzix die and the sentiments are HOTP.

Basic Grey meets Friday Sketchers with Whiff of Joy

Well, after spending another 5 hours on the phone to Virgin tonight I am not much further forward - I can get on the internet now but it is so slow and hitty missy. Tomorrow I phone to give notice and am moving to another internet provider so any suggestions will be gratefully accepted.

I've combined another 2 sketches, I've used this weeks Friday Sketchers sketch and realised this card also qualifies for the Basic Grey challenge which is Christmas. Apologies for the pants photo, the H2O's are reflecting the lighting and this is the best of a bad bunch.

I've coloured Santa Charlie with distress inks and H2O's. Isn't he just the cutest!!!
The papers are Basic Grey Wassail (love these).
The large snowflake is a Cuttlebug cut and emboss die, the smaller snowflake is a Martha Stewart punch.
The sentiment is a Studio G stamp.

Pop back later as I have some candy up for grabs!!!

I've used K & Co papers (from ages ago), a prima flower, sentiment stamp is Lili of the Valley and have put Stickles on the brads and edges the flower with it too. The spacers are from Sparklybits (link in my favourite shops)
