Sarah Kay and Spoonful challenges

The Sarah Kay challenge this week is take your inspiration from "sweets, candies and treats" so I've gone with chocolate - no surprises there then!!

I've coloured the Sarah Kay stamp with distress inks and H2O's. The papers are Making Memories Cosmopolitan pad which I have had for absolute ages. I've used my Martha Stewart zig-zag border punch (thanks Sally) and my Stampin Up photo corner punch. The pearls are from Sally, the sentiment is computer generated.

-o-O-o-

I had to do a card for this weeks sketch on A Spoonful of Sugar - it's fabulous and the result is a card that was done in 10 minutes - I love it when a card comes together so quickly.

My order from The Hobby House arrived yesterday with the delish Cosmo Cricket Little Dutch Girl papers which didn't even get time to be stroked, let alone put away lol. Also in the parcel was this cute Sugar Nellie stamp which I have coloured with distress inks & H2O's. The sentiment is Studio G, punched with my Stampin Up Word Window punch. The snowflakes are punched with a Martha Stewart and Dovecraft punch. The brads are Papermania. The ribbon (I know it's not in the sketch but I love my ribbons!!) was recused from a present earlier this year.

Melinda Helping Angel does Papertake Weekly and Cute Card Thursday

Katharina has done a fantastic sketch on papertake Weekly this week and as ever I'm way behind with my challenges - what's new!! I'm also entering this in this weeks CCT challenge - Autumn as I think these colours are perfect for autumn.

I've coloured Melinda Helping Angel by Whiff of Joy with distress inks and H2O's. The sentiment stamp is from a Stampin Up hostess set - Best Yet.

The gorgeous papers are Sassafrass Lass from a Sarah's Cards kit that I won in a challenge ages ago - I really had to force myself to use these, aren't they just the most gorgeous papers! The buttons are from my button box - it's about time I started using them.

I received another three sets of H2O's from The Hobby House today - ermmm, I think I have an addiction to H2O's and am NOT going to count how many sets I have now! I also received the Cosmo Cricket Little Dutch Girl papers from them - how long have I been trying to get my hands on these - one email to Jill and problem sorted. Thanks Jill, you're a STAR!!

2 cards 2 challenges - Tilda in Pink & Kadoodle Autumn wishes

No combo's today - aren't I just too good lol. I loved the Tilda & Co sketch this week and it's ages since I last used a Magnolia stamp so wanted to give this one a go.

I've coloured Tilda with Prismacolors and H2O's. The papers are DCWV Rose Tinted Christmas, snowflakes are punched with a Martha Stewart punch (love it!!). The sentiment is a HOTP stamp and then I punched out a tab with the SU tab punch.

The sketch on Cutie Sunday is another fab sketch and when I started the card I was thinking Halloween (hence the black on the card) but after I had coloured in Polly I started to think more Autumn - too late she cried as the card was already stuck together so I went with black (I think brown would have been a much better choice.) I struggled with this card as I so don't do Halloween type cards - this is a major first for me!!!

Polly is a Kadoodle stamp available from The Craft Barn, as are the papers which were part of the DT kit. The papers are MME Spirit (love these!) Polly is coloured with distress inks and H2O's, Prima flowers, brads, Zoomz, spacers from stash and the sentiment is computer generated.

Whiff of Joy challenge 4

Wow, we're on challenge 4 already and growing from strength to strength. A huge big thank you to all that have joined in with our challenges, you've made it a great success.

This week the challenge is Autumn, and there is a FAB prize again up for grabs so get stamping girls!! A clue - he's lying down!!

Don't forget to visit the other Challenge DT members blogs to see their fabulous cards - they have all outdone themselves this week!!

I've used a few Whiff of Joy stamps this week, why didn't anyone tell me how fabulous the chair stamp is!!!! It's a dream to colour and the perfect accessory and I love it!! I've used Willow with Hot Chocolate (she's back in stock again after selling out), the delicious chair from the accessories section and Melinda's Heart - how delish is that cushion!!! All have been coloured with the usual distress inks and H2O's.

The papers are K&Co - from two different pads. I ran the brown distressed paper through the cuttlebug with the script embossing folder to give a bit of texture then lightly sanded it to distress it a bit - hey I'm well into this distressing lark lol.

The flowers are Prima from The Scrapbook Shop, the charm is from Ebay (it was silver but I coloured it with a gold Krylon pen to match the autumnal colours).

The sentiment is from a set of brushes from Designer Digitals that Katharina and Rach posted about a while back.

I also received this award from Rach and Tanja thank you sweeties

Penny Black meets Sketch Saturday

Another combo from me today I'm afraid, if I don't I will never get all the challenges done that I want to do! I love doing the Sketch Saturday challenges, I don't think there is a single sketch that I haven't loved. I've combined this with this weeks Penny Black challenge which is "thanks".

The Penny black image is coloured with the usual distress inks/H2O's (love Penny Blacks cos they are so quick and easy to colour). The papers are (I think!!) K& Co but not 100% sure as it was a loose piece lying in the bits drawer. The flowers are Prima and puched with the Retro flower punch, the tiny thank you sentiment is from CleverCut, I find these tiny sentiments so useful. The delish ribbon is from Dainty Supplies - I had to buy a reel of it in every colour lol. Well, a girls gotta have loads of ribbon hasn't she!
