Friday Sketchers challenge and some new puppy pics - aaaahhh!

What first? The card or the puppies? I'll go with the card first cos I've a vew puppy pics to share. I love the sketch on Friday Sketchers this week, so you may get bored with some repetitions lol.

I have coloured the Forever Friends image with the usual distress inks and H2O's, sentiment is Cuddly Buddly. The papers are last years Dovecraft and the ribbon is BoBunny from The Hobby House. The holly is a Sizzix die, pearls are from Sally.

Now to me boys. Odie is on your left, Oliver is on your right. They are 5 weeks old today and are toddliing about, attacking my toes and ankles as soon as I go into the puppy room - bless. promised my hubby I would crop him out of the picture else he would not have held the pups for me - men!!!

A close up of Oliver, I have a feeling he may just be stopping here with us, don'tcha just love that little face.

Odie is going to a wonderful home in Cumbria, to join his older brother Dookie to keep him company (or should that be to terrorise him lol)

Sarah Kay challenge - Doodling

The challenge at Sarah Kay this week is doodling, something I'm not very good at I'm afraid but I tried (my hubys says I'm very trying lol)

I printed the free download from Summer Designs onto a sheet of white card, scored out the template for the spring card then drew scallops around the top instead of the usual diamond shaped spring card. A bit of doodling, a couple of Stampin Up rub ons, Sally's pearls Prima flowers, spacers and brads and job done! I love cards that take 10 minutes to make instead of my usual all evening jobs lol.

Whiff of Joy blowing kisses for Cupcake and ABC challenges

I've found another challenge blog (don't all groan at once lol) - Cupcake Craft and this week there's a fabulous sketch which I was itching to do and have just made this weeks challenge cos the new one starts tomorrow. I've combined this with this weeks ABC challenge which is L=Lace. I really enjoyed making this card (but then working with the Whiff of Joy stamps is such a pleasure )

I've used Angel blowing kisses from Whiff of Joy which I have coloured with distress inks & H2O's (what else lol), the sentiment is from a Cuddly Buddly set
I've used the delicious and very yummy K&Co papers (again!)
Flowers are Prima, pearls are from Sally, corner punch is by Stampin Up as is the Rose Red card

Katharina is giving away another Whiff of Joy stamp

Katharina has made the most gorgeous keyring charm for her friend with shrink plastic and pearls - very yummy! She is also giving away some more candy and to be in with a chance of winning it all you need to do is is to tell her what you would do to get hold of this key! The most inventive or funny comment gets the stamp and she will announce the winner tomorrow.

Here's a peek of Melinda helping angel so get across to Katharina's blog and enter now and good luck!

Pink and green buttons and bows

I wanted to do both these challenges but haven't got time to make two seperate cards. So many challenges and not enough time, so I've combined the Sugar Nellie challenge (pink and green) with the CCT challenge (buttons and bows) this week. I used a sketch from Friday Sketches that was done last month - I really loved using the sketch the first time round and when I recevied the most exquisite card off Rach it reminded me that I wanted to use the sketch again.
Sugar Nellie stamp from The Hobby House coloured with distress inks and H2O's.
Papers are Laura Ashley (forgot I had these!)
Sentiment and flourish stamps are Stampin Up Delight in Life and Friendship Blooms sets
Flowers are Prima
Pearls are from Sally
Border punch is Martha Stewart Lace Doily
