Winter Trees

 

I've decided to keep postage costs down this Christmas so am trying for CAS flat(ish) cards and definitely achieved that here - go me!

I started off the card by making a mask for the moon, then inking with Tumbled Glass, Stormy Sky, Faded Jeans, Chipped Sapphire and a touch of Black Soot.  I then splattered water and white paint on and allowed it to dry.  I also used a Posca Paint Pen to add more snow and ended up with a snow storm!   I removed the mask and added some squiggly shading with W1 and W0 copic markers.

I then die cut that fab tree border from the newly released Tree Assortment Die Set from Whimsy Stamps then cut another layer from white card.  I inked both with Tumbled Glass to add a little shading.  I stamped a sentiment from the Everyday Scripted Sentiments stamp set then adhered the layers in place with thin foam tape.
