Whimsy Stamps has a new mini release today and these bears from the Hello Bear Stamp Set!! And the new Slimline Die, and the new stencil and the new background stamp and yeah - I used a few new goodies on this card! 🥰️🥰️
I die cut the panel with the new Slimline Card Builder Die set. Really love this die because there are extras so you can cut out windows - square, circle and oval. But if you want a lovely stitched panel with no cut outs then the option is there (I SO used this option!).
I inked the honey drip using Distress Oxide Fossilised Amber and the new Honeycomb Drips Stencil then masked that area off so I could ink in the sky with Tumbled Glass DO. I freehand cut a curved mask for the hill and inked that with Cracked Pistachio DO.
I wanted to pop another hill in the front and so I die cut a piece of card using the Grass and Cloud Edger Die Set and then inked that. It looked a bit plain and to be honest I didn't have the time to sit and draw in grass with copics so I took the new Leaves Background Rubber Stamp and inked the hill with that. LOVE the effect this gives and will definitely be using the background stamp ... a lot .... for quick and easy texture for backgrounds.
I coloured up that sweet little bear and the bee hive from the Hello Bear Stamp Set and finished off with a heat embossed sentiment.
so cute, I love slimline cards, we used to call them DL's . Your scene is gorgeous. Jane x
