Whimsy Stamps have the most gorgeous mermaid stamp and die set that they released this month. It's a first for me as I've never made a card where I've build the scene up by colouring and die cutting individual elements .... and I'm sold. What a fab, fun and easy way to make a card!
The Mermaid Escape clear stamp set and Mermaid Escape die set that were part of a previous Paper Door Kit from Whimsy Stamps are now available individually

I stamped out the elements from the Mermaid Escape clear stamp set and coloured them in with copic markers. I used the matching Mermaid Escape die set to quickly die cut the images ready to pop on the background.
I made the background by heat embossing the Lotsa Dots background from this month's Paper Door kit then inked over that with distress oxides (old paper, tumbled glass and mermaid lagoon.)
I adhered the elements with glue and some with foam tape for dimension and finished off with a heat embossed anchor from the stamp set and some twine. Oh and some "pearls" on the mermaid with a white gel pen.
