Love your hugs shaker card

Whimsy Stamps April release is full of spring goodness.  There’s also a fabulous Shaker Maker combo die set which I used to make my shaker card …. LOVE the stitched border on the shaker frame!  It’s a good size so perfect to make a full sized square card.  I teamed it with the Spring Flowers background stamp and  added some bunnies and a sentiment from the Hugs Bunny clear stamp set.

I stamped the background stamp onto watercolour paper and heat embossed with white embossing powder.  Then I blended on 4 different colours of Distress Oxide Ink (Broken China, Picked Raspberry, Twisted Citron and Squeezed Lemonade), one in each corner.  I used some of the tiny butterflies and flowers from the shaker set inside the shaker together with some sequins and glitter – gotta have sparkle in shaker cards!  I fussy cut around the images so I could pop them on the front of the card.

I coloured the bunnies and flower pots with copic markers:

Bunnies: C3, 1, 0, 00, R20, 00
Scarf & flowers: R85, 81
FLower pots: B04, 02, 00, 000
