Two cards to share today, I’ve been so ill with this flu …. again. Yep, second dose of the flu since Christmas for me, aren’t I doing well … not. Anyhow, because I’ve not been up to much I’m only getting around to doing my blog posts, so here’s a couple of cards to catch up with things.
First up is this sweet little Fairy and Puppy, coloured with copic markers.
The papers are from a My Minds Eye pad – I have a gazillion of these pads and am trying very hard to make a dent in said pile. The sentiment is from this month’s CAS set – Elegant Gifts.
Next up is something rather different, I decided to heat emboss some embossing paste that I applied to card through the Swish Stencil. I used both gold and silver embossing powder.
I finished off the card with some foamiran flowers – the large flower is made using the Hellebore Flower Die. I die cut the “birthday” sentiment from the Shaker Builder – Sweetest Birthday die set, and finished off with a heat embossed “wishes” from the You’re my favorite stamp set.

ReplyDeleteBoth equally stunning Bev!! Hope you feel better soon, it's so hard to shake off that flu bug!
ReplyDeleteBoth cards are beautiful x
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love both cards! The first has a lovely image beautifully coloured ,of course, with gorgeous flowers. The second is so opulent and luxurious with the gold and silver embossing, finished with more of your fabulous flowers. This would make a wonderful Christmas card too. May I ask where you get the glitter card you use for your foliage as it is such a lovely shade? Debra x
ReplyDeleteThanks Debr. The glitter card is from Hobbycraft, I absolutely love it becaause it's got a smooth feel and doesn't shed glitter at all.
