Merry Christmas

My last Christmas card for this year, and my last post as a guest designer for Love to Craft and Create.  The time has flown, and I’ve had such fun being a part of Monika’s design team.  I’ve met some wonderful people, attended some amazing workshops with the ever welcoming Monika and supremely talented Ewa Constancja. 

I’ve gone with very non-traditional colours using some Lemoncraft papers.  See, I had this pale pink poinsettia sat on my desk for weeks and had no clue what papers to put it with till I came across this fabulous paper pad and I was sold!   Some die cuts, lots and lots of glitter and I was totally in my happy place.

I kept the small flowers white to show off the gold stamens and coloured the poinsettia with soft oil pastels.

The foliage is all die cut from the Christmas Branches die set from Whimsy Stamps.  I think the sentiment is a Studio Light die, in fact I’m pretty sure it is, and the snowflake doily is by Wild Rose Design.
