They will be available to buy from the Whimsy Stamps store and selected Whimsy Stamps retailers on Wednesday. We are thrilled to welcome Linda, Lis and Stephanne as our Guest Designers for this release. We are also excited to welcome some of our artists as guest designers this month. Welcome ladies!
PRIZE ALERT ... We have hidden a fabulous prize of a $15 GIFT CERTIFICATE at one of the stops on today’s hop! We will draw the lucky winner from the comments left here and on today’s design team posts (listed below), so be sure to visit everyone and leave a comment at every stop to be entered into the draw. Today we are excited to show you the brand new Crissy Armstrong, Meljen Designs, Elisabeth Bell and Raindrop Echo Designs stamps and dies being released this month. For a full reveal of these stamps, hop on over to the Whimsy blog!
For today's project, I inked up Butterfly Net by Elisabeth Bell, isn’t she just the sweetest little lady? I used a sentiment from the Frame of Thanks set (from an earlier release) along with the matching mini picture frame die. And see those delish butterflies? Well they are from the fabulous butterfly border die. I just ran it through the die machine then chopped off butterflies as needed, inked the edges, a few little pearls and job done.
Coloured with copic markers, I used
Hair: E57, 43, 42, 51, 40, 50
Skin: E13, 11, 00, 000, R20
Clothes: R22, 20, 30, 000; W3, 1, 0, 00
Grass: YG67, 63, G20
I used papers from the Spring Feast (First Edition) paper pad, love the vintagey colours. The doily behind the image is a Prima die.
Lace, pearls and flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. Flowers used are mixed pastel magnolias, cosmos daisies and open roses (25mm, 15mm) and rose buds.
So now it's time for you to continue today's hop! Don’t forget to leave a comment at every stop along the hop to be entered into the draw to win a $15 gift certificate:
