Polka Dott

Apologies for the lack of posts (again!!)  Things have not been good, I did not even manage to get a candy posted last weekend, I will aim for a double candy this weekend, how’s that?

So, this card was done a while back and fitted for this week’s Wild Orchid Challenge which is Daisy, Daisy.  I have used one of the new Whimsy Stamps images – Polka Dott by Elisabeth Bell, isn’t she just a sweetie.  If you’re in the UK she’s in stock here at Dies to Die For.

From what I can remember I didn’t use much in the way of pencils when I coloured this one up.

I used a new Bird Cage die from Crafty Sentiments, which I coated with Shabby White Frantage embossing powder (love this stuff).  And the little apple charm peeking out the bottom of the flowers didn’t miss the Frantage treatment either lol.

The papers are from my beloved Pion Design stash, I am so glad I order in multiples!

The gorgeous lace and flowers as well as the Divine Twine are from Wild Orchid Crafts as are the white leaves.  The flowers used are Cottage Rose, fabric daisies, chrysanthemum daisies, 20mm roses, sweetheart blossoms and I also used some white stamens and finished off with some pearls.

    Another gorgeous card here Bev. I love the Shabby Chic feel to it too, and the birdcage is so gorgeous here too. Love your work.
    Please just take good care of yourself, and don´t worry so much about us, as I´m sure, we´ll all be good if you just are too.
    Have a great week/month ahead now, and just enjoy the summer, that´ll hopefully soon be all over us now. LOL
