Woohoo! Whimsy Stamps new release of Wee stamps goes live today. I’ve been loving all the sneak peeks the Whimsy DT have been sharing these past few days. I love Wee Stamps so much so when Denise from Whimsy Stamps asked me if I could do some work with the stamps for her I jumped at the chance!! I have thoroughly enjoyed playing with them – no work involved here, just sheer pleasure! Thanks Denise xx
I have used the Go Kreate XXL Frame Scalloped Circles and XXL Circles to create the easel card. I used that delish First Edition Summer Breeze paper pad, it’s totally yummo and full of my fave colours and lashings of glitter. The pearls, seam binding, Divine Twine, trellis rose, carnations, 15mm roses, 10mm roses and lilies are all from Wild Orchid Crafts and have all had the glimmer mist and Stickles treatment (gotta keep the glitter theme going lol). The tiny little butterflies are from a Martha Stewart PATP butterflies border set, I just snip the bottoms of the butterflies from the border then ink them up with Walnut Stain distress ink. I even managed to squeeze one on the carnation.
Colours used are
Skin: E11, E00, E000, E0000, R20
Hair: E53, E51, E50 and light umber pencil
Dress: BG10, BG70 and slate grey/turquoise pencils
Roses and leaves: R22, R20, R000, G94, YG61 and rose pink pencil
Bicycle: W5, W3, W1, W00, C9, C5, C3, R22, R20, R00 and warm grey 70%, cool grey 70% pencils
Basket: E25, E23, E50 and sepia pencil
The sentiment is from an Anna Griffin set that I eventually managed to get from QVC after trying for absolute ages, me very happy :)
Apologies for all the photo’s, but I loved making this card sooo much lol.
I think there is a blog hop happening today and knowing Denise there will be some amazing prizes up for grabs so do go and check out the Whimsy Inspiration Blog for all the details.
