I managed to finish off colouring in this adorable Three Little Angels image from Lili of the Valley that I started for last week’s Quick Flicks so thought I would make a quick card. And this My Minds Eye Lost & Found Christmas pad is just so gorgeous, the card practically made itself!
Of course having gorge embellishments from Wild Orchid Crafts – Trellis rose, 20mm roses, 15mm roses, 4mm rose buds, 8mm semi open roses and holly leaves as well as seam binding, vintage charms, jute string which I split into 3 lengths, NEW pins which I coloured with a copic marker to give it a copper look instead of the silver so it matched with the copper die cut bells from Marianne Designs. The tag behind the image can be removed but divvie here forgot to photograph it out of it’s hidey place!
The colours for the hair are on the video, the copics and prismacolors for the clothing are
YG97, 93, 91 and Olive Green Pencil, E43, 42, 41, 40 and French Grey 70% pencil and the clouds are BG000, BG0000, C1 and a light touch of cool grey 50% pencil
The inside has been decorated to compliment the front, and the sentiment is from Lili of the Valley’s Christmas Circular Sentiments. I added a bit of bling to the roses with German Glass Glitter, 100 grit as it’s nice and fine to add to the flowers (applied with Glossy Accents). Gold Stickles was dotted around the border of the image and the sentiment.
Have a fabulous day. And to all the lovely people that are still thinking of and enquiring about my Maddi, she is getting there. She had to go on another course of antibiotics as the infection is still there but I am quietly hopeful we will be able to delay the spay until she is a lot stronger. She is still not eating but that could be down to the massive hormone injections she has been getting.
And before I go I should be posting my 4000 followers candy by the end of the week, what I have got in so far is totally AMAZING, OMG if you could see the size of the prize from Wild Orchid Crafts, I about fell off my chair at their generosity!! So keep yer eyes peeled girls, there is more than one FAB prize up for grabs!! Go Kreate have kindly offered some dies as Charmed Cards and Crafts are sending a box of goodies, I am drooling at the thought lol.
hugs

ReplyDeleteI don't often leave a comment Bev but your blog remains one I visit & I'm always coming back to look at things I know you've covered. I found your Quick Flicks so helpful in terms of using Copics (though I only got to watch it in the early hours of this morning).
ReplyDeleteThanks for all your input in so many ways.
