Sugar Nellie Jasmine

I’m sorry but I don’t have a Just Magnolia card this week, my new Sugar Nellie stamps arrived and well, I just had to drop everything and colour this gorgeous little sweetie up.  It’s the only card I have made this week!!  So hard to resist that’s for sure.  Fairies + pink + Wild Orchid Crafts new goodies + Nitwits = BLISS lol.

Talking of new goodies, my October DT kit arrived this week from Wild Orchid Crafts and I had to use the crown pins again, totally yum!  In fact I think I have used all my fave products on this card – the trellis rose, 25mm wild rose, 20mm roses, 10mm roses, tulips, lilies, lace, raffia ribbon and Crystal Stems and all PINK.  Added to this deliciousness is the new Grin n Bear it  digi kit from Nitwit Collections and I was in heaven lol.

Jasmine was coloured with my beloved Copics and Prismacolors:
Hair: E25, E23, E50 and Dark Umber pencil
Skin: E11, E00, E000, E0000, R20
Dress, shoes: E43, E42, E41, E40 and warm grey 70% pencil
Socks: RV00, RV0000
Flowers: R85. R33, R81 and process red pencil
Frog and leaves: YG67, YG61, YG00 and olive green pencil
Shadow under feet: C3, C1, C0 and warm grey 50% pencil
Shading around image: W0, BG000, BG0000

A close up of those gorgeous crown pins.  The little heart started life as a red mixed Christmas wooden shape embellishment so I just painted the back with picket fence distress crackle paint and love how there is a pink tinge to it from the red underneath.  I then edged the heart with Stickles.

I folded the raffia ribbon in half so it would not overpower the lace.

And then to finish off I decorated the inside to compliment the front.  The sweet little sentiment on the front of the card is from Crafty Sentiments .

I am moving into my new craft room today WHOOP WHOOPIE DOOOOO, and then am heading off to Leeds in the morning for the colouring masterclass, but I will get my candy posted up before I leave, promise :)
