I’ve gone back to my stamping roots for today’s card – when I first saw a Sarah Kay card on Marlene’s blog 3 years ago I became a total stamp junkie and still am (if not more so now lol).
I hand cut the card shape, I don’t do those electronic die cutting machines, they give me the heebie jeebies – my Craft Robo is still in the bubble wrap it came in when I bought it a few years ago, waaay too difficult and involved for this old brain, although seeing all the new machines on the market I have been tempted (but not given in to temptation yet lol).
Rose cuddling the winter bunny has been coloured with Promarkers, flexmarkers and Prismacolors (sorry I can’t remember the colours as this card was done months ago). The ribbon, button, divine twine and pearls are all from Wild Orchid Crafts. The paper is Nitwit Collections Joyful Hearts. The lace is a gift off a gorgeous lady in the US, thank you soooo much sweetheart xxxx

ReplyDeleteHi Bev
ReplyDeletelove your card, I can't believe you hand cut the shaped card (mine would have been all over the place). I am with you Bev on the electronic die cutting machine, I have a Cricket Expression, I keep trying to use mine but end up using my Big shot & Spellbinders. I have promised myself that WHEN/IF/SOMETIME IN THE NEAR FUTURE my new craft room is finished, & I have a designated space to leave it out I will try to use it lol.

I'm with you Bev -- I have a Cuttlebug & that's all I need! I could never figure out those big electronic machines! This is beautiful -- I am also scissor-challenged so I couldn't even cut a shape as perfectly as this!
