I am so behind with Christmas cards this year I went and bought a whole load on Sunday (blushes!!!!). So, I am still trying to get a few more cards made to send to crafty friends who I know will appreciate a handmade card.
I have used Star Tilda on my card. Aren’t these Heavenly digi papers from Nitwit Collections just gorgeous. So soft and pretty. The gorgeous silk ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl. I love love love this ribbon, it holds its shape perfect for bows and is so luxurious.
The copics I used are:
Skin: E11, E00, E000, R20
Hair: E33, E53, E51, E50
Dress: R21, R01, R00, R000, R0000
Star: Y26, Y21, E79, E71
I printed off the Believe star from the digi set, mounted it onto a scrap piece of card, cut it out and edged it with stickles. Lurve the kraft look to the star. Mary Fran sure does not leave out a single detail when designing her kits and this one is no exception. I still say it’s her best kit yet and that’s saying something!!
The flowers are all from Wild Orchid Crafts, I used a small flat gardenia, 25mm wild rose, 15mm roses and new larger rose buds that are going to be on sale in January. I really love this larger size. The pearls are also from WOC (and I just noticed one of the pearls are skew, best go fix that before I forget), and the mistletoe leaves are a Doohickey die.
Last pic – another marathon post from me today, sorry.
Paul from Letraset sent me some more Promarkers to give away, I will pop the candy on one day this week. Thanks Paul, you are a star and so good to all my readers.
That’s definitely it from me, else I am going to be late again!
hugs

ReplyDeleteDear Bev, love this card (as always). Don't worry about those bought x-mas cards. Same overhere, too much to do in too little time. This year has flown by so quickly, maybe we have to start in January again to be ready for next X-mas. Wishing you already Happy Holidays.

Lovely card, Bev. I think it needs to be something you have to do throughout the year if you want to make everyone's card, doesn't it? I am going to have to pick some up today to finish off mine or they will never get in the post!
