More pink and yellow

I am so loving this colour combo just now – I can see me making loads more Christmas cards in these colours.  This is another of the uber quick cards I whipped up for Lili of the Valley last Friday night (I got 6 done in under 3 hours – that’s serious moving for me lol).

I could not get the soft pink colour with Copics or Promarkers so resorted to getting out the old Distress Inks again (not used these for ages and boy did I forget how to use them rofl).  I do love the soft, ethereal look the inks have given to this sweet image.

The sentiment is from one of the Adorables sets from Crafters Companion – these are going to stay out on my desk till I am done with my Christmas cards, they are amazing sentiments.  The lace and flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and I used 10mm roses, 15mm roses, cherry blossoms, 30mm Wild Roses.  The oval punches are Stampin Up and the gorge paper is Eline’s Babies Girl from Cutting Edge Crafts.
