It’s our Special Monthly Challenge this week on Just Magnolia, which is sponsored by Simon Says Stamp and the prize is a $30 voucher so get creating girls!
This week the challenge is “It takes two”, so we want to see two (or more) Magnolia images on your projects. I’m still in the easel phase lol – so here’s yet another easel card. And there’s pink!!! No surprises there then lol.
The two images I have used are Snow White Tilda (is that what she is called) from the Spring Kit, and the Magnolia tree that I picked up at the NEC (love this tree!) The sentiment is also from the kit.
I’ve coloured the images with Distress Inks and Twinkling H2O’s and used the gorgeous Karen Neuberger papers that the lovely Kath shared with me a while back.
Recipe:
Stamps: All Magnolia
Papers: Karen Neuberger
Tools: Martha Stewart deep edger trellis punch, Martha Stewart Monarch Butterfly punch
Embellishments: 15mm roses, Wild Roses, 6mm rose buds and pins all from Wild Orchid Crafts, ribbon from Craft Fairy, Stickles Star Dust.
I have another card to share today, it’s my turn to post on the Stampavie DT blog so I thought I would share another of the samples that I was commissioned to make a while back. Remember the 14 card marathon? Well I still have a few cards that I have not posted.
I had to make a series of boys cards using MME papers (which I think are so perfect for these images by Gillian Roberts for Stampavie). Out came the Sizzix star die (that die has been so useful for boys cards – what would I have done without it lol).
Recipe:
Stamp: Soccer Crazy by Stampavie
Papers My Minds Eye
Tools: Martha Stewart border punch, Sizzix stars die (Tracy at Dies to Die For sells the die cut shapes here)
