Phew, I’m home from Ally Pally, and what a marathon that was!!! I arrived there on Saturday morning with a stinking migraine – not a good start to the weekend I can tell you. Then, I left Ally Pally just after 4 on Sunday afternoon and got home just before 1 am on Monday morning. There was engineering works on the rail lines which caused utter chaos, at one stage we were so delayed (train change number 3) it was touch on go whether I was going to catch the East Coast train home. I have never been so pleased to see my hubby as I was when he got to the station, he was delayed as the back brakes seized on the car so he had to leave the car where it was (luckily he hadn’t gone too far) and dash back home for my car to come and fetch me. It’s not very nice standing at the railway station on your own in the middle of the night I can tell you – what a wuss I am. I won’t be doing that again!! But it was wonderful to see all my lovely friends and all the wonderful ladies that took the time to stop by and say hello and have a quick natter. And Jacqui, thank you sweetie for being you xxxx. And Rach surprised us with a visit too – it was so fab to see you again honey.
Okay, so enough about my travel tribulations lol (if you’re still with me and not bored witless), how cute is this little bear! She is one of the new releases from Lili of the Valley that go on sale on Wednesday 21st April. The stamp I have used is called Window Box.
I got this stamp at Ally Pally on the weekend and had time to make a quick card yesterday. At first I thought this might be a bit fiddly to colour – not so. I coloured it with distress inks and Twinkling H2O’s and added some stickles to the flowers and also around the image the the papers (these are from the Papermania Rose Garden pad).
The cherry blossoms and the gorgeous lace are from Wild Orchid Crafts.
