This card is for two challenges – Simon Says Stamp challenge which is for All that sparkles and also for the Creative Card Crew challenge which is snowflakes – plenty of those here I think.
When I first saw this image of Dreaming Pixie I wanted to use it for a Christmas card so went with the soft teal and icy blue shades. This is just the most beautiful image, don't you think, and so versatile too. And when my new Christmas sentiment stamps arrived and I saw the "Dreaming of a white Christmas" stamp I just had to make this card. Oh, and I am LOVING my Copics lol - bet you never thought I would say that lol. I have found three card/papers that I'm getting good results with: Gina K, Canson Manga Boards and LOVE the Copic Marker Pad (only downside to this is it's uber thin - 70gsm - so needs to be mounted on to white card before adhering to the coloured mat.
A close up of the snowflake embellies, punched and die cut and coated with Twinklets and Glamour Dust.
I used one of the Spellbinders borders for the centre strip. I saw Chrissie's card and loved how she layered the white and blue strips - so effective. So whilst you cased my card sweetie, I've cased yours right back lol. I also applied Glamour Dust to her wings after I had coloured them.
