Whiff of Joy Challenge - a sketch

This week on Whiff of Joy Challenge we have a fab sketch by Heather, it's one with lots of layers and I must be fond of a treat as I matted each layer (I just can't get my cards to look right unless each layer is matted).WOJ01

I have used one of the Whiff of Joy autumn stamps - Fall Willow holding corn basket. I have once again used the MME Bloom and Grow papers (how perfect are these for autumnal cards). I've used the latest kit from Crafty Feeling, but changed the yellow to orange with distress ink and then Glimmer Misted/Cosmic Shimmered the flowers. The spacers are from the Hobby House (gave them a whack with a hammer to flatten them) and the brads are Papermania. The flower pin is also from the latest Crafty Feeling Kit.woj-autumn-green-orange

    I know what you mean about the matting. I'm the same! I see other peoples cards with lots of layers that haven't been matted and they look fab but it just doesn't work for me.
