Before I get on to this weeks challenge, I would like to let you know that we have a fab tutorial on the Just Magnolia Monthly Challenge blog done by Michele Roos so pop across and take a peek.
Our challenge on Just Magnolia this week is Embossing, this can be heat or dry embossing. I went with the easy option and used the Cuttlebug . I have been so busy behind the scenes with a few projects that right now easy is good lol. So apologies that I have not been visiting you - this is my busiest time of the year with the run up to shows and also the Christmas DT releases that I am chasing my tail in circles. I haven't forgotten you all and will try and do some visiting as soon as I can so please bear with me.
Right now on to my card - I actually used Copics! Can you believe it and I even attempted black hair - oh my goodness what was I thinking of. I'm not keen on the pink colour - I needed the R81, 83 and 85 and put off ordering them ... till now lol. I ordered them from Cult Pens on Tuesday and had an email within a few hours advising my order had been shipped AND P&P free if you order over £10. I am well impressed!!
I used flowers from a couple of Crafty Feeling monthly kits and layered these on to an acetate flower that I coated with Twinklets.
I also adhered tiny (1mm diameter!!!) crystals to her necklace and bracelet (needed a telescope to see them never mind a magnifying glass lol)
I dug out these Bo Bunny papers and combined them with black this time - really love the effect and contrast the black gives. Will def be using this colour combo again.

Tools: Cuttlebug Devine Swirls embossing folder, Labels 5 Nestabilities, Oval Nestabilities, Retro flower punch for acetate flower, Twinklets (from The Hobby House)
Embellies: Tiny crystals for her necklace and bracelet, spacer, Papermania brad, Prima ribbon, flowers from Crafty Feeling
