I've managed to get two cards done today, sometimes the rain can be a good thing, I got to play in my craft room all day *U*
The first card is a ........ wait for it ......
Shhhh ..... Christmas card - don't all shout at me at once. I have usually started long before now but just realised that we are almost half way through the year and I have not made one!! I inked up one of my new DT stamps from Motivet, how sweet is little Doraline licking her candy cane. Bless.
I dug out these papers from my scraps drawer, I think they are DCWV but not sure. I have sprayed the poinsettias with Cosmic Shimmer mist (the red is so rich and yummy) and a touch of gold Radiant Rain. I've used this weeks Friday Sketchers challenge, a fabulous sketch by Jeanette.
Kept the inside fairly simple (only cos this was the last of the DP scraps)
Stamps: Motivet Doraline with Candy Cane, Happy Holidays sentiment, I wish we could .. sentiment
Tools: Nestibilities, Martha Stewart Embossing Snowflake border punch
Embellies: Mini tree charm and flowers from stash
My next card I have done for the Creative Card Crew challenge which is Geometric patterns. Thought the Marrakech papers by Basic Grey fitted the challenge perfectly and the colours work so well with cut little Jack paddling and building sandcastles lol.
Stamps: Pink Gem Jack with Crab, Simon Says Stamp Simply the best sentiments
Paper: Basic Grey Marrakech
Tools: EK Success Binding Edge punch , Cuttlebug Bubbles embossing folder, Stampin Up corner punch
Thanks for looking,
