Well, it weather might not be "summer" but it's certainly hot on the JM challenge this week! There is oodles of inspiration by the DT - and the cards should certainly get you in a sunny mood lol.
My card is a rushed one this week, I left it too late (as per usual) and have used the same sketch that I have used for the last 3 cards I have made (the other two will be posted Saturday and Sunday so I hope you won't get too bored *blushing madly*)
I've used another oldie - this little cute has not been inked since last summer - how bad am I!! I've teamed her with MME Bloom papers and Core-dinations card stock that I have lightly sanded back to show the core. Reminds me of faded beach huts lol. 
A very simple inside (it almost didn't get done but I am determined to carry on decorating the insides, no matter how simply it's done).

Stamps: Magnolia, sentiment is from the Simon Says Stamp Sending Sunshine set
Papers: MME Bloom
Tools: Nestibilities, EK Success Scalloped Edger slim punch, Stampin Up Slit punch
Embellishments: Prima sprites flowers, dragonfly charms, spacer. Ribbon and brads from stash

Wow, I love the freshness and taste of summer card. I particularly like the stamp of Tilda in the water. It really gives the taste of cool off in the water at the beautiful sunny days. I also enjoy the charms in the shape of dragonflies. They are perfect.

A very Summery card and a beautiful image too. I think the way you do the inside of cards is terrific and I suppose it stops the card being top heavy from the front. I think that's what I mean. Have a great weekend at the Dome.
