Whiff of Joy/Papertake Weekly

Have you seen Dawny's sketch this week ( you probably have - it's just me who's like the cow's tail - always behind lol).

Anyway, I haven't used Lizzie with chocolates for ages and thought she would look good with these papers that the lovely Sally sent me at Christmas. She's on offer at Whiff of Joy at the moment for Valentines day so don't miss out if you haven't got her yet.

I think the papers are MME and I have found a UK supplier that is selling them for 25p a sheet, they are 12 x 12 double sided and love quality too so that's really excellent value isn't it? I'll edit this post as soon as I have confirmation that she has stocks of them, I know she was waiting for new stocks to arrive.

I stitched around the panels using gold thread, probably the wrong colour to use cos you can't really see the stitching. A bit of pricking using a Stampin Up pricking template, a couple of flowers and leaves using my new Martha Stewart punch (thanks to a very special lady xxx), some of Sally's pearls (link in my side bar) and a really quick card done.

I used some of the same MME paper for the inside, and stamped a swirly border using a Stampin Up set. The sentiment is from Dimension Fourth. The gold stitching is showing up a bit better on the inside of the card - typical isn't it!

Stampin up swirls stamp is from their Friendship Blooms set
Sentiment (inside) is from a Dimension Fourth set, front is from an Anna Griffin set
Flowers are Prima
Corners punched with a Stampin Up corner punch
Leaves are done with a Martha Stewart Branch punch (love it!!)
