Sugar Bowl Challenge

I've managed to get a card made for the new Sugar Bowl Challenge blog. Tiets has excelled herself with this sketch, it's fabulous. Lots and lots of layers which I love.


A close up of the layered flowers and charm which I've attached with silver chain and jump rings



The sentiment on the inside is computer generated, and I've used those nesties again.


The back, still using up the scraps lol.


Recipe:
Sugar Nellie image coloured with Distress inks - Antique Linen, Faded Jeans, Frayed Burlap, Vintage Photo, Scattered Straw
and H2O's Dutch Iris, Scarab Beetle, Burnt Umber, Cedar Wood, Lemondrop.
Papers are K&Co Garden Collage pad which I have had forever
Sentiment on front is HOTP
Label punch is by Stampin Up
The flowers are Prima and I have glittered the brads with Chocolate glitter but it's not showing up very well in the picture.

    Oh!!! Bev, this card is just so stunning! I love the colours and the patterned paper! This image is so sweet and just coloured to perfection! I love all the little metal accents/charms that you use! They make every one of your cards so special!!! I really love how you used of the Cuttlebug plaid embossing folder! I have often thought about picking that one up and never have but you have sealed the deal,smile!!! Everything about this card is just so gorgeous!!!

    Absolutely gorgeous, Bev! Do you even realize what an enabler you are? First I bought some of the charms on Ebay, then the personalized stamps ~~ that's right, not STAMP but STAMPSSSSSS ~~ & now I must find the chain that you use to attach your charms. Right now I'm using a thin cord, but the chain looks so much better!!

    I have recently found your blog and love it you have so much info on here for a newbie like me
    I am new to stamping well actually I haven't started yet but I have an order placed with sugar nellie 12 stamps between my friend and I - lol
    I especially love todays card yes that is one of the stamps hopefully winging its way to us I noticed you coloured it with distress inks - have you a link anywhere to show us how to do this it would be much appreciated
