Charlie and his dog

This stamp puts me in mind of my grandson - from when he was first born his Joey used to sleep under his pram and cot and would put up with ears and tail being yanked and pulled and has never ever told Ben off (thats Cavaliers for you!!) A boy and his dog, that's our Ben and his Joey. The trip down memory lane aside I'm entering this card in the Papertake Weekly challenge, it's another of Carole's amazing sketches. I'm also entering it in CCT - Christmas Animals.

I saw a fab idea for suspending charms with charms on Fran's blog so have pinched her idea, how cool to use the snowflake charm as a spacer and hang the tree off it. Fran has the most fabulous ideas so please go and visit her blog.


Here's a close up of the snowflakes punched from glitter card (a girl as gotta have sparkle and bling at Crimbo)

The Whiff of Joy stamp has been coloured with distress inks and H2O's (what else - still dithering about the Copics - I am so scared to spend all that money and not get the results I do with the inks and H2O's).

Ribbons are from Hobbycraft, the wide centre one is from Michales (thanks Sally!!)
The large snowflakes are punched with a Martha Stewart punch (thanks again Sally) and the small ones are a Dovecraft punch
The corner has been punched with a Stampin Up punch
The bling brads are Papermania, the crystal cabouchons are from Sally
Charms are from Ebay
